Hi Jimmy,

I would ask a local sailmaker, most of them in the UK and Europe do canvas work some making their own frames and others sub-contracting that work. There are also a few businesses that do just canvas work and don't make sails.

I think it's best to have someone local to your boat so measuring up, templating and fitting don't involve major travel and associated costs.

Peter.

Hi Jimmy.

I have bought a few products from this company as they have some unusual fittings. I found the web site and photos very good for ideas. The site has changed and I don’t know if it’s as good as it used to be, but it’ll probably we worth going though the photos at least.
It was the ‘Strapless Bimini’ that first caught my attention as I liked the design without straps to trip over.

Regards,
Paul.

Hi Jimmy,

Were you able to find a supplier?

I am actually developing software to turn a 1-minute video into a metrically accurate 3D model. All of the relevant measurements can then be taken easily and a new Bimini sewn. I am currently testing out this process with my own boat.

If you are interested, I would be happy to talk with you!
