I have owned Mooncresta for the last 15 years, cruising all over the South Coast as our children grew up.
The last couple of years I have invested significantly in her and cruised to Ireland in 2023 and The Azores in 2024.
Now looking to cruise further afield it’s time to change for something a little larger.
She’ll be antifouled (in addition to the ultrasonic anti fouling fitted a few years ago) and is ready to launch / sail.
Can be viewed ashore at Marchwood, Southampton.

◦ Genoa end 2019 in good condition
◦ Dynema running rigging 2024
◦ Genoa pulleys all replaced with ball raced ones.
◦ Mainsail reefing pulleys replaced with ball raced ones
◦ Bukh DV20 twin cylinder diesel converted to fresh water cooling in 2010, high output alternator
◦ PSS Dripless propshaft seal
◦ Gori 2 blade folding propeller
◦ Centaflex flexible propshaft coupling
◦ Engine mounts replaced 2024
◦ Large calorifier with hot shower in cockpit
◦ Recent new stainless steel fuel tank
◦ Lots of spares including high pressure fuel pump, low pressure pump, starter motor, alternator, complete spare engine included if wanted.
◦ Twin Sterling lithium domestic batteries with AGM starter battery, coupled with Sterling battery to battery charger. If you don’t like lithium batteries I can swap them for new AGM lead acid batteries.
◦ 100 Watt solar panel with Victron Bluetooth MPPT controller
◦ Victron BMV 712 battery monitor
◦ Navico tillerpilot
◦ Chartplotter
◦ Tacktick wind instrument
◦ DSC VHF Radio
◦ Advansea depth/speed instrument
◦ CQR anchor and approx 50 metres chain
◦ Eberspacher Airtronic heater
◦ 2 burner, grill and oven cooker with flame failure devices on all burners and spark ignition.
◦ LED tricolour and anchor masthead lights replaced 2024
◦ Victronix combined masthead antenna and wind direction indicator
◦ Deck paint redone 2025
◦ Both fire hatch and main saloon hatch are getting tired, I’ve bought brand new replacements but not yet fitted them so still new in their boxes but included in the sale.
